    “Jokers and Buffoons always think in absolutes. Serious folks always think statistically — yet in terms at odds with all statistical probability.” —-Tongue in mouth touching cheek?

    • What an insightful question! Absolutely not! I think most of us move back and forth between the two sets — although, I bet a study would show that authoritarians and fundamentalists spend appreciably more time in the jokers and buffoons category than they do in the serious category.
