Weather like that is made to sing “California Dreamin’” to yourself.
“All the leaves are brown,
And the sky is grey,
I’ve been for a walk,
On a Winter’s day…”
Taking pleasure in the quiddity of the thing.
“California Dreaming” is classic for a day like this.
‘California dreaming’ – so it seems we belong to the same generation.
I don’t know – my son the music major says that song is virtuous on many levels. Good stuff crosses generations.

Snow this early? Must be that damn George Bush and his Global Warming! Sometimes I almost wish the president didn’t have the power to change weather.
I miss Colorado.
We lived in Louisville for five years (moved there from California). That’s where my wife Joanne learned how to make her chili.
