I think this week’s image could be from a dream — perhaps of the Earth Mother known to mythology. That effect might very well be intentional. Some of Sink’s other works are clearly influenced by mythology. But whatever the case, I believe the composition is superb.

I really enjoy the title, and the photo.
The walls seem barren, devoid of life, I imagine her hips and arms feel angular and bony as well.
I think, “she must be cold” and the surface she is standing on must feel cold to her feet.
I want to wrap her in a super-soft pink bathrobe right out of the dryer, put some fluffy slippers on her feet and hand her a steaming cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows.
