All these nude photographs are amazing. Some of them seem examples of perfect human bodies. I’d be very interested to know if these are poster girls for anorexia or healthy human bodies. To me it seems they are the latter and if so, more young people should be shown these to get an idea of what real beauty is.
Now, THAT photo makes the human body look great! Inspires me to gain me twenty pounds, that does. (Hear that, metabolism? Get busy on that slowing down!)
Being one of those naturally nearly-anorexically thin people (please don’t hate me!), I can’t understand why people want to be so skinny as to have bones showing through. It’s not attractive. It’s not healthy. I’d kill – okay, not kill necessarily, but I’d give a lot! – to not look like a Stegasauras when I bend over. And we will not even discuss the difficulty of finding jeans in a size 2 in this country.
In other words, people: Stop trying to weigh 0 and start celebrating that flesh!
Now, Dana, don’t get down on yourself for having a naturally thin body! From the photo on your blog, I would judge you well proportioned and attractive.

Usha, I agree it is both tragic and foolish the fashion for young women these days is to have a virtually anorexic figure.

I’m getting down off my soapbox now. Thank you.

Fortunately, there is no one standard of beauty.

What a stunning image, Paul. The tones, shape and flow make this something very special. Thank you for sharing it.
