February was annoying, except for visiting my mother.  I felt tired and out of it much of the time.  I’m going to get a primary care physician and find out what’s going on with all this fatigue.  I suspect it’s just a lack of sun though.

Hop on to a flight and come over to India Paul – the place is hot and crackling. Hope you feel well soon and March is a merry month for you.

  2. I hope the doctor is able to help you out, but most importantly that you feel better soon.

When I’m tired a lot I know it’s usually my thyroid and I go in to have a blood test. My specialist is very good about letting me test anytime I think I need it and then I call her to review the results and she will change the medication, if needed. I’m careful about not abusing it and she’s great about taking care of me.

I was diagnosed with thyroiditis about 8 years ago and it’s taken almost that long to find a good doctor.

I was glad to see the end of February, too. And then March arrived with snow and ice.

    That’ll teach me. :)

    Hey Paul –

Sorry to hear that you are so fatigued. I hope it is just a lack of sunshine and warmth, but you might also want to check out your diet. A certain lack of vitamins such as magnisium, zinc and B vitamins can add to the tiredness. It’s all about nutrients! Check out Gillian McKeith’s website for more info. This woman totally changed the way I look at food. The reason I mention this is that nutrition is not something that most doctors think to check.

    Good luck!

    Good riddance to February!!!!
Lots of sicknesses, bad year for infectious disease (respiratory, GI, etc) in USA. If it’s any consolation, Paul, we all suffered.
Sometimes I think a post-viral syndrome (which includes depression, fatigue, etc) is worse than the original acute illness!
March is usually bad, weatherwise, but no denying Spring is on the way. I heard a phoebe sing yesterday, and it gladdens my heart.
    Hang in there!
Since I cannot wait, I am going to Florida for a while to get some serious sunshine and a break from our unusually difficult winter.
Hope you are feeling better soon, Paul.

Lack of sun is a big issue. And maybe you also need a vacation. So how about a vacation trip to a sunny place? Believe me, it does miracles…
